dba'ers,
Question: (take a deep breath for the next part....)
What do you get when you clean out all your closets, attics, basements, garages, old pickups behind the barn of all the perfectly good but no longer used artwork that you used to love but now seems a little dated or the wrong color for the freshly painted walls or Aunt Bobbie from outer space gave to you 14 Christmas's ago and you just can't bring yourself to throw it away or the crazy stuff left over from the last crazy marriage or how ever else you have collected more art than you can possibly use in this lifetime with one of the best causes in Jefferson, Commerce, and the entire Jackson County area????
Simple.....A two day old fashion
YART SALE
When? On November 22nd and 23rd The Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County is having a "YART SALE" in front of DonByramArt, located at 249 Pottery Factory Road in the Commerce Crossing Shopping Center (on the way to Outback Steakhouse). All proceeds from the YART SALE will benefit the Boys and Girls of Jackson County. These are the same folks that serve over 150 kids a day. They present a well-balanced approach to youth development; focusing on education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, sports, fitness and recreation and character and leadership development.
.
How do you help? Dig out and drop off your wonderful but unused tax deductible art to DonByramArt between now and Nov. 19th as a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County. And if you have pieces that you would willing to part with....but are worth serious money, we will have a silent auction inside the store both days. If the reserve you set isn't met, you get it back!
So you see, a YART SALE is a great way to raise money for The Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County, a great excuse to part with some extra art (and get a tax deduction), and a great place to buy great art (no offense to Aunt Bobbie) at Yard Sale prices......!!
Don
